Thanks Burdock (Arctium lappa) is another helpful plant that many folks curse when brushing their dog’s coat, trying to remove the matted balls of fur and burdock burs. Interestingly, they say Velcro is modeled after burdock burs, I don’t know if it’s true, but it’s fun to think so. 😉 But most importantly, Burdock root is wonderful as a food and a medicinal tincture. As a tincture it works on the liver helping support healthy function, improves lymphatic congestion, works on the lungs and skin subtly and the list goes on. Another interesting tidbit about Burdock, it is also one of the original plants in the Hoxsey formula for cancer treatment. Energetically this plant is cooling and drying. This is an alcohol tincture.Dosages: 5-40 drops three times a day. Returns: I am not accepting returns because of the resale safety issue of the products. Even though the bottle caps may be sealed, the stoppers bulbs are soft rubber thus not tamper proof; and oils and ointments are not sealed. Returns would have to be disposed of and that would be wasteful and not respectful of the plants medicine. Thanks everyone. Note: The above information is for educational purposes only. It has not been evaluated by the U.S. FDA, and should not be used for the diagnosis, treatment, or prevention of disease. If you are currently using prescription medications, please consult a physician, local herbalist, or other health professional before using your tincture, as some herbs have contraindications with pharmaceuticals.

Nettle Seed Tincture 2 oz. Wildcrafted

ThanksStinging Nettle (Urtica dioica) is a multi-use plant, in other words it gives and gives as both food, medicine and fiber. The seeds of the Nettle plant in their medicinal form such as a tincture are toning to the endrocrine system and also considered a tropho-restorative for the adrenal glands and kidneys; this means they will help rebuild the function of these glands and organs. Energetically this plant is warming and drying. This is an alcohol tincture. Dosages vary depending on use, this tincture is best taken early in the day, morning or noon at a dose of 1/4 tsp. For many people, the use of natural medicines is an odyssey of learning about themselves. Finding the “right dose” of a particular plant for your body is a lesson and you learn to pay attention to little nuances and signals your body gives you when you have taken too much or not enough. For this reason the dosages on the bottle and website are rather vague. This is to help you find the smallest effective dose for your body. Why take more medicine than you need, right! Just like every plant, every person is different. Returns: I am not accepting returns because of the resale safety issue of the products. Even though the bottle caps may be sealed, the stoppers bulbs are soft rubber thus not tamper proof; and oils and ointments are not sealed. ThanksBlue Vervain (Verbena hastata) is to me, one of the most beautiful wild flowers, the first one I truly fell in love with. You can see it’s tall sturdy structure from a distance and it’s beautiful purple candleabra flower head. Vervain is a real personality driven plant in it’s use, very good for a driven nature or intense personality, someone who is controlling and strong willed will do best utilizing this plant to smooth their “edges”. I’ve also found it useful for women during menopause; a very intense and often stressful period of life for some women, helping with hot flashes, nervous depression and irritation many women experience. Interestingly studies have shown the leaves of this plant to be anti-malaria. Plants never cease to amaze me. Energetically this plant is drying. Thanks and enjoy.Boneset or Eupatorium perfoliatum is a robust wetland plant that grows abundantly along cranberry marsh’s, wetlands, ponds, lakes and rivers in this area of Wisconsin. I wouldn’t want to go into flu season without this one in my medicine chest.Dosages vary depending on use, for the flu I would take 1 dropperful (25 drops or one squeeze of bulb) with onset of symptoms, this can be repeated if needed. Listen to your body and direct your dosage from there.Returns: I am not accepting returns because of the resale safety issue of the products.
