Calendula (Calendula officinalis) is a well-known herb and uplifting ornamental garden plant that has been used therapeutically, ceremonially, and as a dye and food plant since the 11th century. Contains flavenoids and anti-oxidants. Used to treat wounds, rashes, skin irritations. Improves blood flow.Anti-septic and anti-fungal. Plant Family: Asteraceae The herbs are organically grown on by me a farm in Dartmouth, MA without chemicals or pesticides.They are air-dried and hand garbled. Dried herbs are stored in food safe canisters or glass jars. They are packaged to order in new biodegradable paper pouches. PLEASE NOTE that dried herb quantities are not sold by weight. This is a quality product without added stems. The Medium pouch weighs 1-1.5 oz and holds 3 cups of dried tea. The Large bag weighs approx. 2 oz. The X-large bag is 3-3.5 oz.
