Our 100% Natural Deep Purple Thai™ is a gorgeous water lily form which has been harvested at the peak of maturity with deep blue to purple petals and beautiful yellow stamens; the bulbs are completely removed during processing. As the bulb weight is approximately 50% - 60% of the total weight, these pure petals and stamens have A LOT more volume than other kgs currently on the market. Many customers prefer the whole flower type as they have had less processing and thus will hold their potency longer, also allowing for a personalized cut by the user them-self. Not to mention, they look beautiful in potpourri, or craft projects! The cut and sifted (Petals and Stamens) variety offers many convenient benefits, especially if you are looking to add them to a blend or for use as smoking. Removing 50% - 60% of the total weight in bulb chunks makes our Deep Purple Thai™ much larger in volume than many other cut and sifted Lotus/Lily products currently on the market. All of the varieties we offer are processed by hand, for a fair wage, by the family farms in the co-op mentioned above.
